Payments

Knock Knock App uses Stripe to handle all payments securely. You can manage your payment methods, add or remove cards, and handle failed payments from the billing section.

To manage payments, go to Billing in the sidebar.

Checkout Process

When you subscribe to a plan or purchase an add-on, you will go through a secure checkout process:

  1. Select your plan or add-on.
  2. You will be taken to a secure Stripe-powered checkout page.
  3. Enter your credit or debit card details.
  4. Review the total and confirm your purchase.
  5. You will receive a confirmation and your plan will be activated immediately.
note

All payment processing is handled by Stripe, a trusted payment provider used by millions of businesses worldwide. Your card details are never stored on Knock Knock App servers.

Adding a Payment Method

To add a new credit or debit card:

  1. Go to Billing in the sidebar.
  2. Navigate to the Payment Methods section.
  3. Click Add Payment Method.
  4. Enter your card details (card number, expiration date, CVC).
  5. Click Save to add the card.
tip

Add a backup payment method in case your primary card expires or is declined. This helps prevent any interruption to your service.

Managing Saved Cards

You can manage your saved payment methods at any time:

  • View cards -- See all saved payment methods and which one is set as the default.
  • Set default -- Choose which card is used for automatic payments. Click the Set as Default option next to the card you want.
  • Remove a card -- Click Remove next to a card you no longer want on file.
warning

You cannot remove your only payment method while you have an active subscription. Add a new card first, then remove the old one.

Retrying Failed Payments

Occasionally, a payment may fail due to insufficient funds, an expired card, or a bank decline. When this happens:

  1. You will receive a notification about the failed payment.
  2. Go to Billing in the sidebar.
  3. Check your payment method to make sure it is valid and has sufficient funds.
  4. Update your card details if needed.
  5. Click Retry Payment to attempt the charge again.
warning

If a failed payment is not resolved within a few days, your account may be downgraded or deactivated. Update your payment method as soon as possible to avoid any service interruption.
