Conversions
The Conversions tab on your Dashboard shows you how effectively your website turns visitors into leads and customers. It tracks the journey from first visit to conversion so you can see where things are working well and where visitors are dropping off.
Understanding Your Conversion Funnel
The conversion funnel breaks the visitor journey into stages:
- Visitor arrives -- Someone lands on your website.
- Visitor engages -- They interact with your chat widget, watch a video, or take another meaningful action.
- Lead captured -- They share contact information like an email address or phone number.
- Conversion -- They complete a goal you care about, such as booking a meeting or making a purchase.
The Conversions tab shows you how many visitors make it through each stage and where the biggest drop-offs happen.
Key Metrics
| Metric | What It Means |
|---|---|
| Total visitors | Everyone who visited your site during the selected period |
| Engaged visitors | Visitors who interacted with the widget or took a meaningful action |
| Leads captured | Visitors who shared their contact information |
| Conversion rate | The percentage of visitors who completed a goal |
A low engagement rate might mean your widget needs more visible placement or your auto-engage triggers need adjusting. Check the Auto Engage tab to review your automatic outreach performance.
Using Date Ranges for Comparison
Use the date range picker at the top of the Dashboard to compare conversion rates across different time periods. This is especially useful when you:
- Launch a new marketing campaign and want to measure its impact
- Change your widget settings and want to see if engagement improves
- Adjust your AI chatbot's behaviour and want to track the effect on lead capture
Improving Your Conversions
Here are some practical ways to use the data on this tab:
- Low engagement? Review your Auto Engage settings to make sure you are reaching out to visitors at the right time.
- Engagement is high but leads are low? Your AI chatbot might need better training to ask for contact information naturally. Check your AI knowledge base settings.
- Leads are high but conversions are low? Look at your Hot Leads to make sure your team is following up with the best prospects.
Conversion tracking works automatically once your widget is installed. You do not need to set up any additional tracking codes or goals -- the system captures engagement and lead data for you.
