Hot Leads

The Hot Leads tab on your Dashboard highlights the visitors who are showing the strongest buying signals on your website. Instead of treating every visitor the same, this view helps you focus your time and energy on the people most likely to become customers.

How Hot Leads Are Identified

Your AI watches every visitor interaction and assigns a lead score based on what they do on your site. Visitors who take high-value actions -- like sharing their contact information, returning multiple times, or spending time on pricing pages -- rise to the top of the Hot Leads list.

You do not need to manually tag or sort visitors. The AI handles all of this for you in real time. Just open the Hot Leads tab to see who needs your attention right now.

What You See on This Tab

The Hot Leads tab shows a list of your top-scoring visitors for the selected date range. For each lead, you can see:

  • Visitor name (if provided) or an anonymous identifier
  • Lead score -- A numerical score reflecting how engaged the visitor is
  • Score level -- A label like Low, Medium, High, or Very High based on the score
  • Key actions -- The specific things the visitor did that earned them points (for example, shared an email, visited a high-intent page, or booked a meeting)
  • Last seen -- When the visitor was last active on your site
  • Traffic source -- How the visitor found your site

Lead scores update in real time. A visitor who is currently browsing your pricing page could jump up the list while you are watching.

Acting on Hot Leads

When you spot a hot lead, you have several options:

  1. Start a chat -- Reach out directly while the visitor is still on your site.
  2. Initiate a call -- If the visitor is online, start a voice or video call.
  3. Review their session -- Watch a recording of what they did on your site to understand their interests before reaching out.
  4. Check their lead details -- Click through to see the full lead profile, including any contact information they have shared.

Connecting Hot Leads to Your Workflow

Hot Leads work hand-in-hand with other parts of Knock Knock:

  • The lead score behind Hot Leads is explained in detail in the Lead Scoring section.
  • To see all captured leads (not just the hottest ones), visit the Leads Overview.
  • If a hot lead started a chat, you can find the full conversation in Chats.
  • If they made a call, check Calls for the recording and transcript.

Hot Leads are time-sensitive. A visitor showing strong intent today may not return tomorrow. Make it a habit to check this tab regularly so you can act while interest is high.
