Certification

The Certified Implementation Partner programme certifies you to implement Knock Knock App for others — and pays you for completing it.

info

The programme is invite-only. You join either by redeeming a single-use invite code at sign-up or by applying for a seat on the public apply page. There is no self-serve enrol button, and the old shared certification sign-up link no longer works — it tells you to enter the invite code you were sent.

Joining

With an invite code

Invite codes look like KK-XXXX-XXXX. Each one works once, for one person, and is usually tied to the email address it was sent to — a forwarded code is refused. Open the invite link and the sign-up form greets you with "You're invited to the Certified Implementation Partner programme" and the name of your cohort; your name is prefilled and the email is locked to the address the invite went to.

If a code is rejected, the message says why: it's invalid, cancelled, expired, already used ("Each code works for one person only"), issued to a different email address, or its intake has closed — ask whoever invited you for a code for the next round. If someone else uses your code between the moment you open the form and the moment you submit, your account is still created; the partner programme just isn't switched on yet, and the team is told so they can sort it out.

By application

Without a code, apply on the public apply page: name and email, plus where you're based, how many LeadConnector sub-accounts you manage, your relationship to those accounts, how much time you can commit, and which client you'd install for first. Applications are queued for review ("You'll get a real answer either way") and you get a decision email whether you're accepted, waitlisted, or not. If you already hold a partner code, entering it on the apply page accepts you instantly with a link to finish setting up your account. Rounds can close on a deadline, and you can only apply once per round.

The onboarding questions

Accounts that came in on an invite skipped the application, so onboarding adds one extra step — About your certification — with the same five questions: where you're based, how many sub-accounts you manage, your relationship to them, whether you can commit five hours across the session dates plus a practice install, and which client you'd install for first. It can't be skipped.

Your partner account

Until you buy a package, a partner account is a demo account. A banner on every screen says Certified Partner Demo Account — for demos and training only. Not for sale, with a button to your affiliate links. What that means in practice:

  • No session paywall — the free-session limit doesn't apply, so you can demo freely. The exemption ends the first time you subscribe; after any purchase you're an ordinary customer.
  • Visitor identification is off — person-level identification and the enrichment behind it come with a paid package. The Leads page says so, with a See packages link, and everything switches back on when you buy.
  • No monthly AI credits — partner accounts don't receive the recurring credit grant. You earn Wallet dollars from the programme instead.

Completing the Steps

Open the Certification entry at the bottom of the sidebar to reach the partner portal: the programme overview, your steps, and everything below. The programme is a series of step-by-step tests; each unlocks after the one before it. The steps include:

  • Video — submit the Video URL of your implementation video, along with the name for your certificate.
  • Social proof — one card per post you're asked to share (the cards and guidance are set by the programme), each taking a Post link and a Screenshot of the post.
  • Badge placement — display your badge on a profile such as Upwork or Fiverr, submitting the Profile link and a Screenshot showing the badge. Only one profile is required; any row you start needs both the link and the screenshot.

Every submission is reviewed by the Knock Knock team. You can track each step's status in the portal while it is under review.

Rewards

Rewards are credited to your Wallet in dollars — an enrolment reward when you join, plus a reward for each approved step. See Wallet for how the balance is used.

Once You Are Certified

When you complete the programme, the sidebar entry becomes Certified partner and the portal unlocks:

  • Certificate — a PDF with your certificate name, certificate ID, issue date, and a "Class of" seal for the year of issue, ready to download and share.
  • Directory listing — the public partner directory. Fill in your photo (JPG or PNG, at least 200×200, under 2 MB), display name, tagline, short bio, city and country, WhatsApp number (it becomes a click-to-chat button anyone can see), website, and up to three services, with a live card preview. Tick the one-time consent, then switch on Show my listing on the public directory; turn it off at any time to take the listing down without affecting your certification. Your directory address is fixed the first time you publish.
  • Invite a partner — you can bring others into the programme. Each invite works once, for the person you send it to, and is emailed to them. You get five invites by default (the panel shows how many are left); if you run out, ask the team for more.
  • Sign-up links — at the bottom of the portal, once your affiliate code is set (add or edit it there — it's the via part of your affiliate link). Two copyable links: Sell to a business signs a client up as a normal account, and Sell to an agency signs them up as an agency on the plan the programme has chosen. Anyone who signs up through them carries your code, so the commission is yours. Without a code, the links stay hidden — they'd earn nothing.
