Onboarding Walkthrough

After you verify your email, Knock Knock App walks you through a 7-step onboarding wizard. This process sets up your workspace, trains your AI agent, and gets the widget ready for your website.

You can complete the entire wizard in just a few minutes.

The 7 Steps​

Step 1 — Account​

Enter your name and basic profile information. This is how your team and visitors will identify you inside the platform.

Step 2 — Website​

Add the URL of your website. Knock Knock App uses this to learn about your business, so make sure you enter the main address where your content lives.

Use your primary website URL — the one with the most information about your products, services, or company. This gives the AI the best material to work with.

Step 3 — Training​

The AI scans your website content automatically. It reads through your pages to understand what your business does, what you offer, and how you talk about it. This is what allows the AI agent to answer visitor questions accurately.

You do not need to do anything during this step — just wait for the scan to finish.

Step 4 — Industry​

Select the industry that best describes your business. This helps Knock Knock App tailor the experience and provide relevant suggestions.

Step 5 — Details​

Enter your company name and a short description. This information appears in your workspace and helps your AI agent introduce your business to visitors.

Step 6 — Review​

Preview your AI agent setup before finalizing. You will see a summary of everything you have configured so far — your website, industry, company details, and AI training status.

If anything looks off, you can go back to any previous step and make changes before moving forward.

Step 7 — Configuration and Installation​

This is the final step. You will see your widget configuration options and the embed code you need to add to your website. Copy the code snippet and follow the instructions to install it.

Tips for Completing Onboarding Quickly​

  • Have your website URL ready before you start. The AI training step depends on it.
  • Keep your company description short and clear. One or two sentences is enough.
  • Do not overthink the industry selection. Pick the closest match — you can always update it later in your settings.
  • Copy the widget code at the end and save it somewhere accessible. You will need it when you add the widget to your site.

If you are on a mobile device, you can complete the first six steps from your phone. For the final installation step, you may want to switch to a desktop computer where you can access your website's code.
