Calendly Integration

The Calendly integration lets visitors book appointments with you directly through your Calendly scheduling links. This creates a seamless appointment flow where visitors can pick a time that works for both of you.

Connecting Calendly​

To connect your Calendly account:

  1. Go to Integrations in the sidebar.
  2. Find Calendly and click Connect.
  3. Sign in to your Calendly account when prompted.
  4. Authorize Knock Knock App to access your Calendly data.
  5. You will be redirected back with the connection confirmed.

You need a Calendly account to use this integration. Calendly offers a free tier with basic scheduling features.

Once connected, your Calendly booking links become available within Knock Knock App:

  • Share your booking link directly in chat conversations with visitors.
  • Visitors can pick an available time slot from your Calendly schedule.
  • The appointment is confirmed automatically for both you and the visitor.

Set up different Calendly event types for different purposes (e.g., "15-Minute Demo" or "30-Minute Consultation"). This gives visitors clear options to choose from.

Appointment Flow​

Here is how the typical appointment booking flow works:

  1. A visitor interacts with your widget or chat.
  2. You (or your chatbot) share your Calendly booking link.
  3. The visitor selects a time that works for them.
  4. Both you and the visitor receive a confirmation.
  5. The appointment appears on your connected calendar.

For the best experience, connect Google Calendar alongside Calendly. This ensures your availability is synced across both platforms and prevents double-bookings.

Disconnecting Calendly​

To disconnect:

  1. Go to Integrations in the sidebar.
  2. Find Calendly and click Disconnect.
  3. Confirm the disconnection.

Existing appointments will not be canceled. Only future booking link sharing within Knock Knock App will be affected.
