Jobber Integration
The Jobber integration is built for field-service businesses that run their jobs in Jobber. Every lead Knock Knock App captures becomes a Jobber client, a chat or booking opens a Request in your Jobber inbox, visitors can book an on-site assessment straight from the widget, and Jobber's own quote, job, invoice, and payment events flow back onto the visitor's timeline.
Jobber is in beta. It's on the Integrations page for every account — no plan or flag needed — but the surface is still settling, so tell support if something doesn't behave as described here.
Connecting Jobber
- Go to Settings → Integrations and find the Jobber card.
- Click Connect. You're sent to Jobber to sign in and approve the connection.
- Approve, and you land back on the Integrations page with Jobber connected successfully!
The card then shows Connected with your Jobber account name. There's nothing to paste or map — connecting is the whole setup. You need the integrations permission in Knock Knock App (owners always have it) and a Jobber login that's allowed to authorize apps.
If Jobber revokes the connection or a check fails, the card turns amber — Reconnection needed ("Jobber rejected our access. Reconnect to resume sending leads.") — with a Reconnect button. Reconnecting is the same one-click flow.
If the card says "Jobber is not set up on this server yet", the connection hasn't been enabled on your platform — contact support.
What syncs to Jobber
Clients. Every lead that yields an email or phone number — a chat contact form, a widget lead, a call or AI-call capture, a transcript, or an enrichment — is created as a Jobber client, matched first by email and then by phone so nobody is duplicated. If the lookup fails, nothing is created rather than risking a duplicate. Jobber stamps the lead source with the app name automatically.
Requests. When the visitor actually said something — they left a chat message or booked — a Request opens in your Jobber inbox, titled Web lead: <name> (or Assessment for <name> for a booking), carrying the message, the page they were on, and the source. A bare contact capture with no message creates the client only, not a Request.
Notes on the client. The full chat transcript (Web chat — <date>, page, and every turn) and, for AI calls, the call summary with direction, duration, and recording link. One note per chat or call, never repeated.
Stage. Knock Knock App reads where each client is in Jobber and shows it as the contact's stage — from Request received through Assessment scheduled, Quote drafted, Quote sent, Quote approved, Job scheduled, Job completed, Invoiced, to Invoice paid. The furthest stage wins; an archived request or quote counts as lost. Nox uses this when you ask where a lead stands.
What comes back from Jobber
Jobber notifies Knock Knock App when a quote is sent or approved, a job is created or closed, an invoice is created, or a payment lands. Each event appears on the matching visitor's timeline with the amount and a link into Jobber. A payment also moves the contact to Won in the Nox Funnel ("Jobber payment received"). Clients with no Knock Knock visitor behind them are ignored.
Disconnecting the app from inside Jobber is picked up too — the card goes back to Connect.
Booking an assessment
With Jobber connected and no higher-priority calendar attached (see below), the widget's booking panel offers Jobber slots: your working hours minus everything already on the Jobber schedule, in fixed 60-minute slots, looking up to 60 days ahead. The visitor must leave an email or phone number to book.
A booking creates a Request plus a scheduled Assessment in Jobber, tagged "Booked via Knock Knock". Rescheduling moves the assessment; cancelling unschedules it and leaves the Request in place as the lead record. See Meeting Booking for the visitor side.
How Jobber fits with other CRMs
You can keep Jobber connected alongside LeadConnector or HubSpot — every connected CRM receives the lead. Jobber is the lowest-priority provider, though:
- When Nox needs to read a contact, pipeline, or deal, it reads from LeadConnector or HubSpot if either is connected.
- For booking, a LeadConnector calendar, Calendly, or Google Calendar takes precedence over Jobber.
Jobber has no pipelines or deals to search, no workflows or automation triggers, no tags on create, and no calendar or meeting-length choice — Jobber exposes a single schedule. There are no per-card settings: the card is connect, reconnect, and disconnect.
Disconnecting
Click Disconnect on the card and confirm — "New leads will stop syncing to Jobber. Existing clients stay untouched." Everything already in Jobber stays there.
