Shopify Integration

The Shopify integration connects your online store to Knock Knock App, allowing you to display your product catalog directly in the chat widget. This helps visitors browse and discover products during conversations.

Connecting Shopify

To connect your Shopify store:

  1. Go to Integrations in the sidebar.
  2. Find Shopify and click Connect.
  3. Enter your Shopify store URL when prompted.
  4. You will be redirected to Shopify to authorize the connection.
  5. Sign in to your Shopify admin and grant permission.
  6. You will be redirected back with the connection confirmed.

You need to be a store owner or have staff-level access with app management permissions in Shopify.

Product Catalog in Widget

Once connected, your Shopify products become available in the Knock Knock App widget:

  • Visitors can browse your products directly within the chat widget.
  • Product images, names, prices, and descriptions are pulled from your Shopify store.
  • Visitors can click through to your store to complete a purchase.

Keep your Shopify product listings up to date with clear images and accurate pricing. This is what visitors will see when browsing through the widget.

How It Works

The integration syncs your product catalog so it is always current:

  • New products added to Shopify appear in the widget automatically.
  • Products you remove from Shopify are removed from the widget.
  • Price and description changes are reflected in real time.

The widget displays your products for browsing purposes. The actual checkout and payment process still happens on your Shopify store.

Disconnecting Shopify

To disconnect:

  1. Go to Integrations in the sidebar.
  2. Find Shopify and click Disconnect.
  3. Confirm the disconnection.

Products will no longer appear in the chat widget. Your Shopify store is not affected.
