WooCommerce Integration
The WooCommerce integration connects your WordPress-based online store to Knock Knock App. Your product catalog syncs automatically, giving visitors the ability to browse your products during conversations.
Connecting WooCommerce
To connect your WooCommerce store:
- Go to Integrations in the sidebar.
- Find WooCommerce and click Connect.
- Enter your WooCommerce store URL when prompted.
- Follow the authorization steps to grant access.
- Once authorized, the connection will be confirmed.
You need administrator access to your WordPress site with WooCommerce installed and active.
Product Sync
Once connected, your WooCommerce products are synced to Knock Knock App:
- Products appear in the chat widget for visitors to browse.
- Product details including name, image, price, and description are kept in sync.
- New products and changes in WooCommerce are reflected automatically.
Make sure your WooCommerce products have clear images and accurate descriptions. These details are shown to visitors in the widget.
How It Works
The sync process keeps your product catalog current across both platforms:
- New products added in WooCommerce appear in the widget.
- Updated products have their details refreshed.
- Deleted products are removed from the widget.
Like the Shopify integration, the actual checkout process happens on your WooCommerce store. The widget serves as a product discovery tool during conversations.
Disconnecting WooCommerce
To disconnect:
- Go to Integrations in the sidebar.
- Find WooCommerce and click Disconnect.
- Confirm the disconnection.
Products will no longer appear in the widget. Your WooCommerce store is not affected.
