AI Call Leads

AI Call Leads are visitors who shared their contact information during a voice or video call handled by your AI agent. These leads come from spoken conversations, which often indicate a higher level of interest -- visitors who take the time to talk are usually more serious about what you offer.

How AI Call Leads Are Created

When a visitor starts or accepts a voice or video call on your website, your AI voice agent handles the conversation. During the call, the AI naturally asks for the visitor's contact details, just as a real team member would. The visitor might share:

  • Name -- Their name, spoken during the call.
  • Email address -- For follow-up communications.
  • Phone number -- If they want a callback or further phone contact.

The AI captures this information from the conversation and creates a lead automatically.

Your AI voice agent is designed to ask for contact information at natural points in the conversation. It will not interrupt the visitor or derail the discussion to collect details.

What You See in the Lead List

The AI Call Leads tab shows all leads captured from AI-handled calls. For each lead, you can see:

  • Visitor name -- The name provided during the call.
  • Email -- Their email address, if shared.
  • Phone -- Their phone number, if shared.
  • Date captured -- When the lead was created.
  • Call type -- Whether it was an audio or video call.
  • Call duration -- How long the conversation lasted.

Contact Information

All contact details the visitor shared during the call, displayed clearly for quick follow-up.

Call Recording

A playable recording of the full call. Listen to the conversation to understand the visitor's tone, questions, and level of interest. This gives you much richer context than text alone.

Listen to the call recording before following up. Hearing the visitor's actual words and tone helps you tailor your response and build a more personal connection when you reach out.

Call Transcript

For AI-handled calls, a written transcript of the entire conversation is generated automatically. The transcript shows what the visitor said and what the AI said, with timestamps throughout.

Use the transcript to:

  • Quickly scan the conversation without listening to the full recording.
  • Search for specific topics or questions the visitor raised.
  • Copy key details for your follow-up message.

Filtering Your Leads

Use the date filters at the top of the page:

  • Last 24 hours -- See the most recent call leads.
  • Last 7 days -- Review the past week.
  • Custom date range -- Look at any specific time period.

Best Practices for AI Call Leads

  1. Prioritize call leads -- Visitors who made a call generally show stronger intent than those who only chatted. Give these leads extra attention.

  2. Listen before you call back -- Spend a minute listening to the recording or reading the transcript so you know exactly what was discussed.

  3. Follow up in their preferred channel -- If they shared a phone number during a call, they probably prefer phone contact. If they shared an email, try that instead.

  4. Check the full picture -- Look at their lead score and session recording to get the complete story of their visit.

Call leads expect a timely response. Someone who took the time to have a voice conversation with your AI is likely evaluating their options actively. A delayed follow-up could mean they have already moved on to a competitor.
