Assistant Settings

The Assistant settings screen is where you tune Nox, the in-app AI assistant — your Daily Brief, how it follows up with leads, when it alerts you about visitors, and what it remembers about how you work.

To open it, go to Settings and select Assistant.

note

If your account is managed by an agency that uses white-label branding, the assistant — and this settings screen — may appear under a different name.

The Daily Brief, Follow-ups, and Visitor alerts sections are company-level settings and need the organization-settings permission. The auto-play preference, memory list, and watched visitors below are personal to you.

Daily Brief

Turn the Daily Brief email on to have Nox email you each morning with the leads and activity that mattered the day before. When it's on, pick a Send time (your timezone) — the hour the brief email arrives (default 9 AM) — and choose what to include:

  • Daily stats — visitor and lead counts.
  • Captured leads — new form submissions.
  • Hot leads — high-intent returning visitors.
  • Identified visitors — other named visitors.
  • Suggested questions — prompts you can ask Nox next.

Accounts on the Nox Funnel beta see additional funnel sections in this include-list, such as the funnel snapshot and priority list.

Your selection applies everywhere the brief appears — the panel, the spoken (voice) brief, and the email. Turn off sections you don't act on to keep it short. See Daily Brief.

Follow-ups

This section appears once LeadConnector (formerly shown as GoHighLevel) is connected, since follow-ups route through it.

  • Follow-up channel — whether Nox follows up by Auto (SMS, then email), Email, or SMS.
  • Let Nox send follow-ups without approval — off by default, so Nox drafts follow-ups for you to review and send. Turn it on to let Nox send email and SMS follow-ups automatically. (The AI phone call-back is separate.)
  • Update LeadConnector contacts with corrected identity — controls whether Nox corrects the linked LeadConnector contact when a visitor later gives their real name, email, or phone:
    • Only contacts Nox created (default) — touches just the contacts Nox auto-created from enrichment guesses.
    • All matched contacts — also overwrites a pre-existing contact when the new details don't match.
    • Off — don't update LeadConnector — Nox never changes your LeadConnector contacts.

Visitor alerts

Defaults for when you ask Nox to watch a visitor or auto-engage them on return:

  • Identity confidence to alert — how sure Nox must be it's the same person before it alerts you: Verified only (a confirmed identity) or Strong match (also fire on a strong fingerprint/behavioural match).
  • Auto-engage cooldown (hours) — don't auto-engage the same visitor more than once within this window (default 6 hours).
  • Quiet push outside business hours — hold mobile/desktop pushes outside your working hours. The in-app alert is still recorded so you never miss it.

Auto-play daily brief

Under My preferences, the Auto-play daily brief toggle controls whether Nox flags your brief for you each day. Nox never speaks the brief unprompted — when this is on (the default), a "Your daily brief is ready" badge appears once a day on the Nox chat and Nox Live headers, and you click it (or the play button) to run the brief. Turn it off to hide the daily badge and play the brief only when you ask. This preference is saved on the current device only.

What Nox remembers

Nox keeps a memory of durable facts and preferences from your past conversations. This list lets you review what it has saved and remove anything you'd rather it forget. Long lists are paginated — use Load more to page through everything Nox has stored. Memory is per-account and isolated to your company, following the same per-tenant rules as the rest of your data.

Watched visitors

The people Nox is watching for you. Ask it to "tell me when Sarah is back" and the watch shows up here until it fires or you stop it. Each row shows whether the watch notifies you or auto-engages the visitor, whether it applies to the next visit only or every visit, any instruction you gave, and when it last fired. Click Stop watching on a row to cancel it. When Nox isn't watching anyone, the list simply reads "No active watches."
